From playground to town square
What started in 2019 as a rebellious musical experiment at the Sint-Amandscollege in Kortrijk has today grown into a full-fledged open-air festival that brings together thousands of visitors on the Nelson Mandela Square. All out of love for music and for our beautiful city.
For three days, we have been turning Kortrijk upside down with the best the (Belgian) electronic music scene has to offer for years. One day full of nostalgic retro and trance vibes. One day of dreamy, melodic and progressive house. And one day of uncompromising techno. Something for everyone.
Together with our strong partners, our ambition is to further expand our open-air with ever better line-ups, tighter production and more experience.

With the help of a lot of contributors, we have been able to keep the Sinksen edition of Punishment Study free of charge and grow.
Every year, motivated people and associations - together with us - roll up their sleeves in production (build-up/dismantling), behind the bars and on the grounds to make sure everything runs safely and cleanly.
